Jody Chatterjee, MBA has over 25 years experience working in and with both the private and public sectors to improve the performance and competitiveness of regions and businesses.
He has held senior positions in Regional Development Agencies including the East of England Development Agency where he was the Executive Director, Enterprise and his remit included all activities related to enterprise, innovation, business support and international business and previously also skills. Before EEDA he was at the London Development Agency where he had lead roles in, for example, inward investment, Thames Gateway, Production Industries Commission, Food Board and Climate Change Agency. Prior to these posts Jody was an entrepreneur having raised substantial venture funding to deliver an international skills sourcing e-business.  In addition, he has consulted in strategy and technology development for international companies and SMEs, helping a number of them to devise their strategies, for example, in technology management and business development and also to spin-out new competencies-based ventures.  He has also worked with government organisations in England, Scotland and Eire, for example, to establish a support strategy for developing strategic alliances in the automotive components sector, to develop an inward investment strategy to build on the strengths of the local higher education establishments and to reorganise a high profile government-owned laboratory. Jody also has experience of corporate finance.  He holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, a Diploma from the ISA (Paris) and is a Cambridge University ACDMM alumnus.
